PAINTING TECHNIQUES BOOK

In this book Sérgio Prata explains the techniques and painting's secrets that he learned at the ateliers of Beaux Arts National Superior School in Paris. This school is known as one of the best Art Schools in the world, where David, Delacroix, David and Renoir studied.

 Tecniques like Fresco painting (buon fresco, painting upon a wet, freshly prepared lime-plaster wall with pigments), encaustics (painting with beeswax), ceramic murals, oil (old holand technique with emulsion and medium), watercolor and gouache.

ANATOMICS FOR ARTISTS
Prata studied at the Human's Morphology studio at Beaux Arts School of Art in Paris, with Mr. Débord.
The human's shapes and forms are explained by the author, the artistcs ways to see and represent the morphology, the muscles, bones and tendons, all illustrated with Prata's drawings and paintings.
 
Prata teaches Anatomics For Artists in several Museums, Schools of Art and Art Studios in Brazil, for the last 15 years. Is this book, the author explains some physionomony and phrenology concepts, and how to make the human's construction in art, the most frequent contemporary mistakes and some old master's lessons.
